The successful candidate will have a PhD in Natural Product Chemistry. You will become part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for bioassay-guided compound isolation and applying spectroscopic methods to solve the structures of the bioactive compounds obtained from marine microorganisms. The development of new chemometric and dereplication strategies will also be part of your work. Experience on chromatographic isolation procedures and structural elucidation applying NMR, MS and other techniques is essential.

Criteria of selection:

PhD in natural products chemistry
Experience in isolating natural products from complex mixtures, specially from culture broths of microorganisms
Experience in the development and/or use of dereplication strategies for the early identification of natural products
